20 Things the Poor Really Do Every Day

20 Things the Poor Really Do Every Day

sleep? what is this thing called sleep? memory? emotional stability? so many strange words.. :-p

"If you don't snooze, you lose. Skimping on sleep can wreak havoc from head to toe. In fact, one study published last year showed that just one week of sleeping fewer than six hours a night resulted in changes to more than 700 genes. That's alarming news, considering nearly half of Americans don't bank the recommended seven or more hours of shut-eye a night, according to a recent survey. Read on for the nightmare-inducing truth about what could be happening to your body when you don't get enough sleep, starting the very first night." ~from the article.

Nancy Grace recently held a (very one sided) debate about the recent legalization of cannabis in Colorado and Washington. This is a humorous meme I found regarding what she said. :-)

"A little girl decided to do an experiment with a sweet potato, and her results will change the way you think about the fruits and vegetables you buy at the grocery store." ` from the article.
Non-organic produce is sprayed with a product called Bud Nip; which is Chlorpropham, a chemical that stops that produce from making more of itself. Watch the video to learn more.

Autistic people spoke. At least two of them did.

I am frustrated that they used the words of TWO people with autism to claim that what they feel is what the entire autism community feels and believes. This article undermines the research that has proven that mercury DOES cause developmental problems. It undermines the suffering that MANY children with autism experience. It undermines the very TRUE burden many have with trying to exist in a world that has very little transparency in the ingredients in our food and in our medications/vaccinations.
I am happy that these two people didn't suffer, but I know that my child did.. and still does suffer. For years my son screamed every time I touched him.. he was unable to exist in his world without large amounts of pain and anguish. Its much better now, but that doesn't erase what he went through.. and what so many still experience. I feel I am very much NOT the only one that feels this way. I wish this article wasn't so one sided. :-(

Why are developmental disorders in children typically diagnosed by observing behavior?

Developmental disorders in children are typically diagnosed by observing behavior, but Aditi Shankardass suggests we should be looking directly at brains. She explains how one EEG technique has revealed mistaken diagnoses and transformed children's lives. I have seen this before and have wondered why anyone wouldn't look at brain scans or EEGs with a brain related dx.. its absurd that it doesn't happen. ALL I can ever think.. is that perhaps that information could help my son.. it could help him feel better.. it could help him communicate his thoughts.. make his life easier. OR it could be useless.. but doesn't the potential positive WAY outweigh the potential "waste of time"?

Mercury and its Effects on the Brain

There was a video shown from Canadian tests of the effects of minimal exposure to mercury and the related developmental issues with neural synapses and fibers during the Congressional hearing on autism the other day.
It bothers me when people say that the anti-vaccination issue started with the refusal to believe that autism was incurable.. but people have been against vaccinations since they were first developed.
It seems like a great idea, but if its so wonderful.. why are they mandatory and why are the details and ingredients so hard to find any information on? Something so wonderful should be something that most people would choose to do with full transparency of the information and the freedom to make their own informed choices.

The Truth is Out There Trailer: Produced by Canadian film-maker Maureen Kelleher and associates this vaccination risk awareness contribution is awsesome. It features an interview with Dr. Leonard Horowitz (www.DrLenHorowitz.com) and can be used to wake up people in your community, including health professionals, regarding the deadly and deceitful vaccination paradigm.
